🍃 🌹SECRET GARDEN 🌹🍃

I dont know how many people would still remember this old book.. I was still in elementary when I saw the movie based on that novel.. 

I was deeply moved and I guessed it stayed deeply in mymemory well.. thats why, at a sprung of a moment, I used it as myinspiration in fabric art and painting..🎨🎨

I have been googling about it recently in favours of mylatest artwork that is inspired from this very book..📕📕📖📖📙📙

The Secret Garden is a children's novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett first published as a book in 1911, after a version was published as an American magazine serial beginning in 1910 (source : Wikipedia)

As I vaguely remembered, the story was about a young girl, who is an orphant and was sent to the care of heruncle.. 

Sadly, the uncle's wife passed away and therefore leaving heruncle and a garden nursed by hiswife in despair.. thats when she found the key to this abandoned garden.. 

With the help of hercousin and a friend , she made the Garden back to life secretly.. 

They brought life back to the abandoned garden and the garden brought life back to those children.. 

And it was pictured in the movie, that this Secret Garden was Beautiful .. Magical .. and a bit Mystical.. 🌻🌻🍃🍃🌹🌹🌈🌌🌌🔐

This book has been on the list of good-read .. and the magical garden was quite famous .. so , I need to do justice to it as I create myartwork..

I have been doing fabric art since 2years ago .. and fell in love deeply ever.. 

The latest artwork I made is a backpack with fabric art on it.. 

The backpack itself is handmade.. using canvas cloth.. 

the front part of the bag is imprinted with fabric art inspired by the book .. I wanted it to be magical and wild.. so I hope i did justice..

 Left details.. I handembroidered roses, bushes, branches .. sticks and flowers .. also used pink salem ribbons as roses and added painting .. I too added a red plastic bead in the shape of a gemstone.. it is to describe hidden gem and magical power of the garden.. and  if you look closely, may not be clearly written, the flower arrangement says N.A.T ..

The right part is also flowered with handembroidered roses from satin ribbons.. and  embroidery threads.. the centre point is the garden of roses and bushes from threads and a soft coloured glass bead dangling .. this is to describe how beautiful roses are.. and again, if you look hard enough, LOL, you could see myarrangement, N.O.T .. N.🌹.T .. 

And in the middle part , the vocal point of the fabric art,, you could see a rose made from zipper.. actually, it was the unused part left from this bag's zipper  .. 😁😁😁... and below , you could see more of mypainting of the letter N in blue colour and blue flower embroideries.. 

hanging from magical branches are a KEY and a LOCK.. it is to describe the key and lock to the secret garden.. they are plastic charms .. 🔐🔐🔐

And to connect the upper part to the lower part of the bag, I stiched a diamond shaped button in the middle.. to describe how the secret garden is like a diamond beautifully polished, cut in to perfection, yet the strongest stone on Earth.. it is the true definition of beauty.. that is why it is placed on top.. 💎💎💎💎💎

And, if you look again, the arrangement says N.I.T

Cant.help to notice that it seems crooked and a bit.messy.here.and there.. but oh well, atleast I did mybest n most sincere,, as I always said to myself..💟💟💟💟💟💟💟

 Detail closeup on the rose zipper.. it was actually my1st time making it.. cause I didnt know what to do with the leftovers.. so I googled and came up with this.. didnt.know.that this piece will be a center for the bag..🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

 A closer look on the rose bouquet and its dangling jewel ... 💐💐💐🔮🔮🔮🔮.. had super lots of fun.making these.. love the 💗💗💗💗 shaped embroideries..

And so.. This is myinterpretation of "Secret Garden".. myfirst multimedia of fabric art in one.. 

Hopefully it is as magical and as beautiful as the Secret Garden portrayed in the book and movie..
